DUBAI: Lebanese fashion house Krikor Jabotian has joined forces with non-profit charity organization Beit el Baraka on a collection of seven limited-edition, brass brooches created by Lebanese artisans.
Throughout the month of June, all proceeds from the collection, titled “Flower of Glory,” will go to Beit el Baraka, which means “house of blessings” in Arabic.
“I have a great sense of gratitude and respect for Beit el Baraka’s mission and vision,” Jabotian wrote on Instagram.
“It has been a devastating year for Lebanon and this is the atelier’s humble way of giving back,” the designer added. “We remain ready and willing to support one another, in hopes that one day every Lebanese can lead a dignified life. Hand in hand, we hope to make a significant step towards realizing this dream.”
The non-profit organization, which was established in 2019, is dedicated to assisting destitute communities with basic needs, providing access to food, decent livelihoods, medical services and education.
