CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police have released the identity of a man who was killed in a shooting Tuesday night at a park’s basketball court.
Jeremiah Moore, 25, died of a gunshot wound to the torso, police say. A second man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. His identity has not been released.
Two suspects were seen running from the area after the shooting at about 6 p.m. at the basketball court at Denison Park on Monticello and South Belvoir boulevards, police say. One of the suspects has been identified but no arrests have been made.
Police say it appears the suspects and the victims knew each other and the shooting was not random.
Police are continuing to investigate.
