Get ready for more sunshine: Northeast Ohio’s Thursday weather forecast

Sunshine returns to the area on Thursday after some stormy weather Wednesday evening.

The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs in the mid 80s tomorrow with mostly sunny skies and moderate breezes. Overnight temps will drop into the upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Friday will be sunny and warmer with highs around 86.

Hazardous weather outlook

Strong to severe thunderstorms could develop across Northeast Ohio later this afternoon through late evening. Wind gusts up to 70 mph are possible as is large hail.

Extended forecast for Northeast Ohio

Friday’s lows will dip to around 70 under partly cloudy skies. Saturday will be partly sunny and warmer with highs around 90. Storm chances return after 8 p.m. Saturday night.
