A man is accused of stabbing and killing two of his relatives and wounding a third in Seven Hills on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The incident came about 1:30 p.m. on East Pleasant Valley Road near Oakwood Drive.
Seven Hills police said in a Facebook post they got called to the house and found three people who had been stabbed: an 85-year-old woman, a 62-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man. They also arrested a man suspected of the crime, whose age was not included in the release.
The women were pronounced dead at a hospital. The 35-year-old man is hospitalized, police said.
The man arrested is being treated at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, but police did not say why.
TV stations, citing a copy of a police report, reported that the victims were the mother, grandmother and brother of the 33-year-old man arrested.
Seven Hills police told cleveland.com they did not release the report. A reporter reached out to Chief Michael Salloum for more information and has not received a response.
Police said that the man arrested on two counts aggravated murder and will be arraigned at a later date.
