A 38-year-old man was shot to death early Sunday after a fight broke out outside a bar in the city’s North Hill neighborhood, police say.
The shooting happened about 2:15 a.m. outside the Oasis Bar on North Howard Street near East Tallmadge Avenue.
No arrests have been made. The Summit County Medical Examiner will release the man’s identity once his family has been notified.
Police said a fight involving “multiple people” broke out outside the bar. Someone fired gunshots that hit the 38-year-old man, according to police.
Investigators found at least one handgun at the scene, according to police. No other information was released.
