MARION COUNTY, Ohio — A 63-year-old Marion man was killed Monday night when his motorcycle went off the road and into a ditch.
Gregory Christie was taken to Marion General Hospital after the crash but he died of his injuries, according to the State Highway Patrol.
A news release from the patrol’s Marion Post says the crash occurred at about 7:36 p.m. on Marion Edison Road in Claridon Township. Christie was driving a 1999 Honda Shadow east on Marion Edison Road when he went off the right side and into a ditch.
Christie was not wearing a helmet, the release says. The crash remains under investigation.
