CLEVELAND, Ohio — A man wanted in connection with a shooting earlier this month in Cleveland and another man sought by authorities in Kansas were arrested Tuesday by federal agents.
Members of the Northeast Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force took Michael Beidleman, 39, into custody as he sat in a vehicle near the intersection of East 260th Street and Bluestone Boulevard in Euclid, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Beidleman is accused of shooting Jarron Grayes, 38, of Cleveland, on April 1. Grayes was found dead behind a Dumpster in a parking lot on the 2700 block of Loop Drive, near Division Avenue.
Also Tuesday, task force members arrested David Young III, 22, at a family member’s residence on East 125th Street in Cleveland.
Young is wanted in Kansas for two separate shooting incidents that resulted in a homicide warrant from the Labette County Sheriffs Office and an attempted homicide warrant from the Wyandotte County Sheriffs Office.
Young is accused of killing a male that was driving in a vehicle on Aug. 15, 2021. He also is accused of shooting a man multiple times on March 5 outside a bar in Parsons, Kansas. Police in Kansas say an argument inside the bar spilled into the parking lot and became a large fight. Several gunshots were fired and Tyrone Mayweather, 42, of Kansas City, was hit multiple times.
Mayweather still is under medical care at an undisclosed location, according to U.S. marshals.
