COLUMBUS, Ohio — The deadline to register for the first of five weekly Ohio Vax-a-Million drawings to win a million dollars or a college scholarship is Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
Millions of Ohioans have already registered for the first drawing. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, according to the Ohio Lottery.
Remember, the Ohio Vax-a-Million is an opt-in program and Ohioans need to enter themselves.
Those who would like to have a chance at the prize can register online at ohiovaxamillion.com. Those without Internet also can enter by phone at 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).
Once you enter, you will automatically be entered for all subsequent drawings, the lottery says. You do not need to submit your name each week.
Any winner will be removed from eligibility to win other drawings. Vaccination records will be verified for winners. If you are an Ohio resident who was vaccinated in another state, you are eligible, but will need to present proof of vaccination.
Winners will be announced each Wednesday, starting next week at approximately 7:29 p.m., for five weeks. The final announcement will take place on June 23.
