SANDUSKY, Ohio — Amusement park enthusiasts can celebrate as Cedar Point will be opening its gates back up Saturday.
Cedar Point spokesman Tony Clark told cleveland.com early Saturday that the park will be open for normal hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., through the rest of Memorial Day weekend.
The park closed its gates at 2 p.m. Friday, four hours after it opened, due to inclement weather.
Guests who had tickets for Friday were asked to contact the park to reschedule their visit.
The region saw heavy rain showers and gusty winds Friday that led to flooding, downed trees, downed power lines and widespread power outages.
